I don't know if a lot of people listen to Andrew WK but he's one of my favorite music artists, I was hope that he makes it in Guitar Hero III because "We Want Fun" would be a killer track. Also I'd like some stuff from The Ramones.

What are your picks for some tracks that should be in GH3?

alternative, rock, metal, and a lot more oldschool and MAINSTREAM music. it would be cool if there was a way u could put like a cd in and burn it on harddrive then edit it and play it with guitar hero 3 somehow.

They should have LOTS of Zepplin and Metallica. Also the Doors, Beatles(day tripper or revolution), more RATM, the who, the white stripes, Union Underground, Trust Company, Tom Petty (Last Dance with Mary Jane), Tenacious D, Teddy Nugent, The Safaris(wipe out), STYX, Steve Miller Band(the stuff from the 70's), Smile Empy Soul, Smashing Pumpkins, Seether

Just to name a few

And What the Hell, On the road again by Willie Nelson

X Japan preferably Rose of Pain, pretty much anything by System of a Down, Deconstruction or Ambivilent by Nevermore, something by Sodom, a bit of Sepultura would be nice and so would be Machine Head maybe Halo or Imperium.

Gonna try an get a nice cross section in here:

Frank Zappa - My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama

Soundgarden - Rusty Cage

Mr Bungle - Carousel

King Diamond - Welcome Home

Clutch - The Mob Goes Wild

Mastodon - Blood and Thunder

Machine Head - Aesthetics of Hate

Deerhoof - Cast Off Crown

Johnny Cash - Get Rhythm

Elvis Costello - (I don't want to go to) Chelsea

Dead Kennedys - Kill The Poor

Fleetwood Mac - The Chain

B-52's - 52 Girls

and quite how AC/DC's Back in Black hasn't already made it on one I don't know.

Obviously you could switch out different tracks by the same artists, those are just the first to spring to mind.

I take The Beatles - While My Guitar Gently Weeps back, Revolution would be a better song by far.  Good call tbonetrav18
