The problem is that it's so old since when the actual movie came out. Now if they made a remake or something, then the game, people may get into it, but I still wouldn't even rent it then.
Epic Fail for me. Personally, I don't see how chasing around ghosts would be fun for me, because I mostly play games for multiplayer.
But I can see how it'd may appeal to some audiences.

I think it looks great and i'm hoping it does well. I've never played a good Ghostbuster game. Also if you play games purely based on multiplayer games you'll miss out on a lot. That is unless you rent singleplayer only games.

The game is supposed to be the third installment of the franchise. Older movies have done remarkably well in the gaming world even though the movies are slightly dated. Star Wars and Indiana Jones are just two of the movie franchises that have fueled games even with no updated movies to be found.
It's age has nothing to do with it's level of popularity.

True, I love Star Wars as well, even though their games are hit and miss. I love how this is Ghostbusters 3.
