GameSpot doesn't do early reviews because they don't like the deals involved with them (such as, "give my game a 9 or higher and you can post your review two weeks early). All publications say that these deals never influence their final scores, but GameSpot says they don't want to take any chances.

Haha. after the whole Kane and Lynch thing I think that is pretty debatable.

Only reason im here this long is like other posters saying..The forums are nicely done..The lay out of the web site is bye far the nicest around the net..Doenst mean i dont visit giantbomb, ign, fileplanet an other web sites..Its like a home to me over here..Its the only place ive posted on a regular internet site..The people are user friendly..

Couldn't agree with you anymore. Not only are the reviews late but they are usually terrible.
