GOD I love my 360 Elite!!!

This story is for any 360 owners who may feel like they regret getting 360, or wonder if they should have waited for PS3 instead.... About 2 weeks ago, I had BOTH...I had 360 Pro 1st, and then a PS3 later... well 2 weeks ago I was robbed both systems GONE (but they didnt take the controllers or games for either system, weird) .... So a few days later I decide to get a new system, but not both cuz to me having both was a WASTE, and without hesitation I went to best buy and bought a new 360 elite.... My Pro didnt have HDMI so I was happy about that....happy about having 120 GB instead of 20... and all in all I'm happy.....What I learned from having both systems is, If your at all into Blu Ray movies then go with the PS3, but if you could care less like me and just want to play sweet arse games, then 360 all the way...I thought I'd watch Blu Ray's, but never even watched ONE.... there more expensive then reg DVDs, and whatever its just a movie..... I just think 360 has the best games (except for MLB The Show, I'm gonna miss that game) I'm sure a time will come when there is a game on PS3 only that I really wish I could play, but it sure aint MGS4, or that Final Fantasy non sense( I guess if those games are important to you that would be another reason to get PS3)..... Besides COD4, The best next gen game I have ever played on either system is Gears of War, and there is no game I rather have right now then Gears Of War 2, and thats what makes 360 the choice for me

I also completely agree, and I rented COD4 when I had a PS3.... it is no where near as good as 360's. The lobbies feel dead. almost no one has a mic.

MLB 08 The Show and Metal Gear Solid 4 are the only TERRIFIC games on PS3. And, I won't disagree that they are the bomb. But, when the 360 has games like Gears Of War, Halo 3, Mass Effect... all EXCLUSIVE to its name? Oh, and not to mention that every online based game is better on Xbox 360.

Honestly, I bought PS3 for 2 reasons, MLB The Show (Im a hard core baseball fan) and for Blu Ray movies.... and maybe God of War 3 too, but thats still aways away, but I never cared for the MGS series.... I bought I think it was part 2 on PS2, and I hated it, and sold it, so never liked is since then.... dont care about Final Fantasy or any RPG for that matter.... shoot, Im a balla, or jock if you will, we dont play no RPG games, there for little ersian fools, haha just kidding.....anyways like I said never ended up watching 1 blu Ray, there way too much money that I rather spend on games, and blockbuster has limited copies, so forget blu ray for now anywaysuschris0304

Me too, me too. I bought a PS3 for maybe Metal Gear Solid, and I liked MGS4, but I sold it, along with my PS3 two days ago no joke. I sold my Wii a month and a half ago. But anyways, I grew up around baseball my whole life, and I am a hardcore fan like you. I had 2k8 for my 360, which all-in-all is a good game, but MLB 08 The Show is the best baseball game I've ever played. So I mean one or two games is no reason to keep a $500 system.

yeah!! Im gonna miss the Show man, what a great baseball game.... I just gotta hope that either A. The Show goes both ways eventually, or B. MLB 2k series get its baseball game to match its basketball game...... But other then that, WHATEVER about the PS3.... There is maybe 1 other exclusive that I MIGHT have had interest in and thats God of War, but I never played the others on PS2, so not even sure about that one..... And what are the 2 MAIN things talked about when comparing the 360 and PS3?? That HOME is free on the PS3, and that PS3 has Blu Ray..... Well right now IMO the HD movies are too expensive, and when you try to rent them they never have the new movies in.....so IMO Blu Ray isnt even for me until 90% of Blockbuster is blu ray...... and by that time, I bet 360 has some blu ray attachment or something for those who want it...... and as far as the internet service goes...... Right now HOME isnt even on the radar of XBOX live.... but when it is, whenever it is, and it moves closer to actually competeing with xbox live, you have to figure at that point xbox live will then also be made free..... that would be smart business, and I bet thats what happens...we'll seeuschris0304

Well, we can hope for The Show on 360, but I don't see Xbox Live being free, and I'm glad because the money keeps it going strong and steady.

I had part 1, good looking game, was in awe at 1st, but its way too repeatitive and it gets BORING fast....so wont be buying Bio Shock 2 either

I love my 360, but really, $180 for a 120gb hard drive? What was MS thinking when designing this? At least the PS3 allows you to upgrade your hard drive cheap and easy. A lot of people (like me) are running out space--yea, you can delete things here and there, but it's so much easier to install a larger hard drive, but not for that price. I think this is one of MS major flaws in their 360.feryl06

I have PS3 and 360 but I prefer the PS3. Halo 3 in my oppinion was over hyped. I never really got into Mass effect and gears of war was ok. But the PS3 has MGS4, motorstorm, warhawk, resistance, killzone is coming soon and we have the final fantasy series. So I think the PS3 has better games. And I have played games online on the PS3 and Xbox 360 and there is no difference at all. Although Xbox live is better than the Playstation store.

How can you say mass effect and gears were ok, and then go and say resistance and motorstorm and warhawk are awesome games... backwards much?

I was so disappointed in the PS3 and the lack of a good gaming library that I sold it, (as i had all three consoles) and I probably would have sold my wii also if dr mario and wii fit hadn't come out... now i have to fight for the use of the tv with my wife, sinc edr mario is her fav game of all time and wii fit seems to now be her second fav. lol

But 360 has all the games I like and need, and the odd one i can't get for that console, well, too bad there are three more that I can that i couldnt on the ps3.

Well, not much of a consolation for previous owners. :) But it still doesn't solve their OVER PRICED hard drive.
