going back to halo 2

i think every one or aleats most people should go back to halo 2 because alot people enjoyed halo 2 over halo 3 well idk most u feel like that but i know pretty much every good player i meet up and all my friends say halo 2 over 3. idk about noobs i think they enoy halo 3 better i can care less

like 4real we should really start thinkin about 2 over 3 and i think most people would agree. and if u played halo 2 and halo 3 you know the reasons if u a good player

every one says we should go back but no one really dose just the fact halo 3 is newer but sure anit better

I have quite a few friends who've had LIVE for years that easily prefer Halo 2 over Halo 3. I can't say, I got LIVE last year and played Halo 2 when the community was dead. But I trust my friends enough to know that yes, Halo 2 probably was more fun to play at it's peak.

That being said, I don't play either anymore. they just got boring.

well we all perfer halo 1 but saidly halo 1 dont have no mutiplayer you know microsoft is stupid they should of hire gearbox to make the muti has they made the port and the online for pc or bungie could of done it lol

and they could be selling that game oln marketplace for twice as much as they charging now i think i woul;d be willing pay 30 bucks for halo 1 online mutiplayer

The thing I loved about halo 2 was that there were so many glitches like super bounces/ getting out of maps, ect.fudgiebrown1

ya thats was great but just besides the glitchs maps are all god vs halo 3 about 4-5 is good and wtf wanna be lock out man i swear why could bungie put lock out on halo not no noob blk out. black out kind of sucks even if uj going up good teams holding it down run into a team on blk out knows how to do it game over but lock had so many options jumping from buttom to top all the ramps and everything

Have you even played Halo 3 for awhile? Most of the updates in the last few months especially the title update 2 have pretty much reverted a lot of the game back to its Halo 2 balance. Movement speed is back to Halo 2's, FFA is back up to 8 players, not to mention in Halo 3 2's problems are absent like hosting issues. Also have you gone back to H2 after playing 3? I tried it and its terrible now as far as multilayer goes. Let it die son.Ket87

never kid ya i play 2 still the only thing makes me mad about halo 2 is theres no bumper jumper you think i care about host powers?? lol better maps no b.s spawn system spawning behind people or they spawn be hind. i get mad just for spawning be hind people because its stupid. then. then b.s kills oo god. dieing behind walls wtf? u see your self bind the wall and everything and boom. oo dont even say lag. oo snipers??? umm the onl7y time a dang sniper dont kill in halo 2 is when it laging but u go halo 3 its not laging or anything gusse what u see blood but no shield down?????????. then conclusion umm assault riffle. most b.s weapon i swear. oo some times it wanna work long range then it dont.then again oo how wonderful nades duds wtf sticks people and everything but dont blow up u can even go watch on fim once again it dont blow up. shots dont fire umm your about die and everything u shoot the rocket what do you hear the sound from the rocket shooting off and everything but guess what no boom umm same thing with shot gun your about die guess what you hear the shut gun go off but no shields .lost yay fun sooo when dose this ever happen in halo 2? never thats when unless your lagging get out of here son

I just started started playing H3 since the title update after 3 or 4 months of not playing and truthfully those things are a problem but since TU2 only thing remaining from what you said that I've seen were behind spawns which are only an issue in Team SWAT when people are idiots and hold the trigger down when they spawn and shoot a teammate. Also grenade duds are an issue sporadically, TU2 has really improved the usefullness of grenades. They seem to do signifacantly more damage and are actually a viable option to kill people without weakening them first.

As for the maps I love the Halo 3 maps, I also loved the Halo 2 maps. And I like how you said BS kills because you know what EVERY game has BS kills its a fact of online gaming live it. Halo 2 had just as many BS kills. You seem way to angry about minor ass details that are unimportant. Your b****ing about 1/100 or more odds of a freak instance.

If you can't learn to deal with it go back to Halo 2, I was on Bungie.Net earlier and seen there were 700 people playing while H3 has 200K, guess more folk enjoy 3 so have fun.

yes i totally agree about goin back. me, my friends, cousins (bein who my good team was most the time). we all agree we would definitly go back to halo 2 if the population wasn't so low. we stick to halo 3 cuz thats where everyone is at now...if we saw the online population start rising and gettin its popularity back we would def go back...it was a much funner game.

n00b combo-ing doesnt make you a "good player".....it just says "hey look at me i found a slight exploit in the gameplay and am using it to my advantage!"

That and that alone is reason enough for me to keep playing H3 instead of 2.....at least online, and not with friends only.

Halo 2 had a crappy boss type battle which I hated... and Halo 3 had a bad couple starting levels, and a really bad ending level mixed with a useless storyline and frustrating ending just like Halo 2.

Gameplay and graphics and liked Halo 3 more, but the first Halo is still my favourite. Music was great in both Halo and Halo 2. I can't really remember much from Halo 3, i ran through the game so fast.

Yeah im so tired of being insulted by some noobs and some rank 50's trying to insult me because i own them in Halo 3 and i got so much bad rep and file complaints because of this game. I love Halo 3 but the community is just horrible and just dissrespectful for crying out loud, Heck a freaking 20 year old kid care about his rank and they got own by a rank 23 and that's me then all and all he complain over a game that was so damn good. Man im definitly going back to Halo 2 since it has a good community like the other day when i play and plus it takes more skill then Halo 3 though that takes skill but Halo 2 takes more skill then Halo 3.

Im going back to Halo 2 because of 3 reasons

1. Skill gamplay like i said on that post

2. A respectful community since Halo 3 have the most dissrespect community on earth

3. The maps.

Im not really a glitchy type of person but not just for glitches, It's also the fun in Halo 2 taking away from Halo 3. I mean i play like 3 hours by myself and i never been bored of this games multiplayer at all, Halo 3 in the other hand gets boring since it has the worst community on earth and plus i get bored of it in less then a hour by myself and friends. Oh plus the Maps, The maps in Halo 2 was just fun and there all are awesome while halo 3 got some bad maps like etc Isolation, Ghost town, The pit, Standoff is ok but meh at best, and others but there all are ok at best but Halo 2 have the most fun maps in history of Halo. Also halo 2 takes more skill then Halo 3 in many ways, Halo 3 take an Assault rifle shoot it then melee them, That's all the game is about is Freaking Assaul rifles since the noobs could play this game so easily, Why can't they use different weapons like needlers, Spikers, Battle riffles, Plasma rifles, Plasma pistols now and why? Nowadays it's just Assault rifle nerds. Halo 2 everyone uses different weapons since the Assault riffle is out in the game (thank you bungie) and everyone hated it since it's been tooking out of the game but who cares at least they use different weapons unlike the Assault rifle from Halo 3. Im guessing people are just going the Overuse weapon on the whole world the Assault Rifle while i could play Halo 2 with many weapons.

I love Halo 3 but Halo 2 is just a way better game then Halo 3 but halo 3 is good but not better then Halo 2. Im not going to bother with the campaign since both campaigns are phenomenal.

Well im not trying to be bias on your opinion but Halo 3 has way more noobs then Halo 2, NO FUN, People play Infection the whole time, NOT FUN, People trash talk since i own them, NOT FUN, People T Bag me, NO FUN, People care about there rank, NO FUN, Way more squeeky voices, NO FUN, People call you a Noob, NO FUN, No halo 2 maps, NO FUN, This game is Laggy, NO FUN, This game uses the AR to much, NO FUN, This game takes no Skill, NO FUN, Matchmaking, No fun, Also i barely got glitches in Halo 2, it's that you need to do it the right way to order to do it like the Super jump like i did. Anyway Halo 3 is not fun at all since it has the worst community on earth and it's just boring to me. Also Halo 2 do take skill, Do you rather hold your stupid overuse Assault Rifle to shoot and melee, Wow you call that skill while Halo 2 you could get more weapons like Halo 3 but they replace the Assault Rifle (thank you bungie) while you could use more weapons and that takes skill, and it has way better Team work then Halo 3 since Halo 3 i get betrayed basically the whole time in Team Slayer.
