I would like some input to this that the xbox is not getting anymore games and that the next issue is buying an xbox360. Will I be able to play my xbox games on the xbox360 and if I have dialup will it be hard to connect to xboxlive. I have had a cumputer for many years I know the ins and out of it to my standards but these other consoles are different and I like playing on them please advise. Thank you.

Yes, most XBOX games work on the XBOX 360. Just look it up on www.xbox.com. No, you can't connect to XBOX Live with a dial-up connection since XBOX Live is a p2p network and your download and upload speed will be too slow. Also for the backwards compatible games you either need to get a patch by going on to XBOX Live or you can download it from www.xbox.com and burn it on to a cd and install it onto the 360 that way. There are no more xbox games. It's dead and the 360 is the solution.

You can't even use dial up with the Xbox 360. Besides not possible to use, it would be too slow also. Get a better connection. Connections required to play on Xbox Live only cost 10-15 bucks a month where I'm from.

...could you connect the original Xbox to a dial up connection? But yeah, you need broadband... viva la broadband and...yes a lot of Xbox games work on the 360...but for those who don't....keep your original Xbox if you ever feel like playing them again.

xbox live has always required a broadband connection.
