The 120GB HD will come with a transfer kit.

IF you buy it brand new

it's cheaper to just get the 120GB on ebay and a memory card and transfer your saves only and then download the other bigger files like maps, expansions, shows, etc. from the marketplace again

takes awhile i know, but a lot cheaper

When i upgraded my 60GB to a 120GB it didn't come ith a transfer cable and it said i'd have to contact microsoft as their the onlypeople who have them in England anyays. But you can easily get a second hand memory card and just import important game saves :)

Or you could buy one off Ebay that comes with the cable, but yeah either way works.

Just buy a new 120 GB HDD with everything there. Save yourself all of this needless trouble.

Does the Elite come with a transfer cable? I know the original ones did but I checked the box recently and it didn't say anything about it.

When I bought my Elite console, I just used my memory card to transfer data between the 2 hard drives.
