Gold Lancer *pic inside* - Limited Edition ONLY

If you're not already aware, the Limited Edition of Gears of War 2 will come with a gold-plated lancer for online multiplayer. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like:

I thought it would look cheesy, but this is awesome. I for one, will be buying the limited edition of Gears of War 2, now.

It's true, like the Hayabusa helmet or katana in Halo 3. But if Epic Games can include a proper steel case, it'll be worth the extra $10. I hope there's an option to enable/disable the gold-plated lancer in the menu, so in case you get tired of it or it becomes too common.

^Correct. This is a fake picture. I've seen videos of the actual golden lancer on youtube and it is all gold.
