Gold membership is a stupid idea.

Why do u have to buy a gold membership that actually costs money when on the ps3 u can use all the features for free?im mad cause i was gonna buy halo 3 and play it online when i found out that u have to pay for gold membership even though on my ps3 i already was playing online the first few days i got it no charge.......What do u guys think?

I don't mind if my online service for a console has a fee, but if it does, there should be more done to the actual playing games online than other features.

If you want to compare the 360 to the PS3 please do it in System Wars

XBL gets most of the stuff earlier than PS3. Also we get stuff the PS3 doesnt like DLCs.

Yeah, we pay to play online - it's $50 a year which divids out to 14 cents a day - I can find 14 cents under my couch cushions, it's not that big a deal. Don't be so cheap.

I just don't like making silver members wait a week to get new demos. It has nothing to do with playing online so it shouldn't be part of a gold membership.

umm, what dlc is exlcusive besides the gta stuff?

and you get way more free stuff on psn, wallpapers and themes and such, free costumes for lbp and mgs4 etc... does xbl not charge for EVERYTHING!?!

and you know microsoft isand as far as demos go, i had the batman demo on my ps3 before i did on xbl...

i like the avatar and the navigation a little better for the friends list but i hate all the ads on xbl, i think the ps store is much easier to navigate through.
