My gold subscribtion ended the other day so I tried the 48 hour tiral that came with Halo 3. I tried the code and it said it worked but when I try to play matchmaking it says only Xbox Live Gold subscribers can play this. Well when I played Halo 3 matchmaking the first time before my 3 month live card was up I was in a match with a total **** and so I teamkilled him twice. He threatened me that he was going to get me banned and I laughed it off. But not im thinking I did get banned because for some reason I cant play matchmakign anymore but I can still play co-op with friends over live. My gamertag still shows my name in silver indicating that its the silver and not gold.
If you can play co-op over Live, your gold is working fine and your not banned. It's most likely match making being screwed up, lot's of people are having issues with it, the Halo 3 servers are way too busy :P
i dont think he could get you banned for team killing him twice, everyone does it once in a while. it even says on the xbox that they dont bann poeple based on oneplayers complaint.
