Golden eye on 360?

Who would want to see golden eye get remade for the 360 and give it online if perfect dark got a game why not goldeneye to some people golden eye was the game tha really help first person shooters besides doom and the multiplayer was great and if it was on live i think alot of people would be on it was a great game for n64 still a favorite to some people so what do you think good idea?

Goldeneye was the s*** back in the day, but by today's standards it's pretty bad. I'd rather just have the fond memories of it. There is absolutely no need to bring it back since it is seriously outdated now.arachosia

It was fantastic then, it's still fantastic now unlike Ocarina of Time.

Anyway, releaseing Goldeneye now is too much of a tangled web of crazy.

Nintendo have the rights to the game, someone else has the rights to the bond license, and Rare hold the rights to the code.

While rare forfeited the rights to nintendo when they were making the game, if a re-release were to happen there is still a legal hurdle there, but the biggest hurdle is the license.

Nintendo doesnt want to pay silly money for the license just to put out Goldeneye, which is understandable, and Microsoft also doesnt want to shell out stupid money and THEN have to license the game from Nintendo to be able to put it out on XBLA.

The reason Perfect Dark got another game was because that's a Rare owned IP, and they can do what they like with it.

Goldeneye will likely never see a re-release unless either MS or Nintendo ends up with the bond license somehow. Even then there are other issues.

um todays fps games lack somthing ,, at least on ps3 and 360 ,, remember when you can play with 4 friends you knew ,, locally, thats whats missing from many fps games also most of them lack content, paying 60 dollars we would assume pd0 would be bigger and better then the n64 game that isnt the case and halo 3 proved to be the same as 2 and 1 with new story slapped on ,

cod is not that great in multiplayer.. its like moh .

and today goldeneye perfect dark duke nukem and timesplitters (series) still remain the best fpses ive played.

i guess its lucky to have a wii, when timesplitters 4 comes out,

as for goldeneye on 360 ----NO!!!!!! it would be more expensive ,,, on 360 then it would be on wii virtual console,

and that is where goldeneye belongs,

unless they release it on both or in disc based for all 3 it should definatelly be on wii ,, no questions asked ,, you know the saying ,, if it isnt broken dont fix it, , that means graphics, i did not like the look of the arcade version,, it looked cell shaded, .. thank god they cancelled it,

i surely dont want them to change graphics unless they give it a movie like look, not an arcady look,

I'd have to disagree. There's gonna be a ton of disapointed people if this game ever came out. The game was great at the time but pales now. I had some friends over last month and we cranked up Goldeneye after talking about it for a while and realized it's a huge step back from FPS these days. When you're used to playing full screen FPS, squeezing 4 people on a tv sucks. Sometimes nostalgia is better remembered.
