Eternal Sonata is a definite winner.
The game itself kicks major ass, and my girlfriend loved it.

I recommend that.

For some reason my GF was obsesses with Gears of War. Possibly for the fact that she could chainsaw EVERYTHING... it also made it quite entertaining for both of us.

I think you mean SC3 and SC4. SC2 was Xbox/Ps2, Three is a PS2 game and four is coming to the current gen systems this year. (With SW characters!)

I would agree though, SC was one of the few fighting games that my wife has ever enjoyed playing with me. On top of that I would suggest some arcade titles as most girls I know tend to be a bit less interested in carnage and typically have a shorter attention span when it comes to learning complicated control schemes. (Uno comes to mind for instance)

I'm not at all suggesting that women can't play any game men can (FragDolls), just that the vast majority of women I know have little desire to sit down and learn a "complex" game like Gears Of War or Halo. My wife for instance pretty much won't play anything that requires two sticks to control...

That said, I would strongly suggest getting a Wii if you don't already have one. My wife is always willing to play WiiSports, Mario Party, Rayman Rabbids, WarioWare or Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles. Plus with a Wii you get all the excellent backwards compatibility with the GC (and older systems). Then you can play MarioKart, MarioTennis, MarioGolf, etc... My wife loves all those games, and I enjoy most of them myself in small bursts.

I think the only game she really enjoys on the 360 is Viva Pinata, which is excellent, but doesn't really have any multiplayer...

perfect dark zero, yea I know its not the best game in the world, very far from that actually, but its plays kinda slow compared to other games and its fairly easy to learn so it would be something that maybe ya girl will learn and get good at easily, me and my girl play online all the time together, I have tried to play other games with her but they are too fast paced and she doesnt do well

If she's anything like my wife then she'll want to play something easy and fun. I found that the only game she is remotely interested in is The Sims or Guitar Hero-III

So, during the battles someone else can control one of the chratacters... like in Tales of Symphonia. For Real?!? That is awesome, I love that! I was already looking forward to getting this game (one of the main reasons I even got the 360 - now I really can't wait to get it.

She might enjoy Gears or R6V. Also Halo, Graw2, and any sport or racing game.

Yes, that's right. You can have up to three players. All you need to do is adjust who controls who and you're off to the races.
