GOOD experience with the RRoD?

My Xbox gor the red lights awhile back, and I accepted that I wasn't going to be playing again for a good while. Not quite. First off, the process is as painless as possible, register your system, get a printed shipping label, boxher up,drop off the box and wait for the return. I dropped my system off tuesday afternoon, and got my xbox back on friday the week after. It was less than two weeks. Not bad IMO, everyo9ne I play with that hasn;t gotten RRoD was surprised at how quickly I was back to PwNing. Just wanted to share.

In my House we have Two 360's one in the living room and one in my room and so when left4dead first came out i went out and bought it i had a system link set for both to my room and the living room and i had it set my friends in both rooms and we were ready and every thing until i Hear Four People Saying uhhh ohhhhh in the other room and Yell What!! what happen why aren't you guys on? Then I over heard them talking and heard (hey i think thats the RRoD is that i dont know just try resetting it. I got up quick went to my room and i witness it......the horror just pure horror and so i was on the phone with Microsoft While my friends play my new game isn't that wonderful hey but due to the inconvenience they gave me a option to one of their platinum Hits (Owww) or microsoft points. Took Longer than yours mine a little over a month to get home. Evandemocracy

I had an extended 3 year warranty for mine from the store I bought it from. I took it there when it red-ringed, they called me back in 2 weeks and gave me a brand new one. Never had to deal with Microsoft.

It's good they're getting faster about it. Still though, the best way to fly is the in-store warranty. I've had two systems go down, and was back gaming within an hour both times.

Do you work for microsoft?

RRod shouldnt happen at all. A big failure on microsofts part creating a generation of systems with almost a forty percentfailure rate.

What about the E74? Is that just as quick (sending mine off tomorrow)?
