lol...
There is no such thing as a FF game on the 360 except fot 11 but thats an MMORPG with a monthly fee and its not very good.
Yeah, only XI exists on the 360, luckily it's great, but, you'll pay monthy for it.
Lost Odyssey is well worth getting, it's different from FF, but, it's fantastic.
Best system for Final Fantasy is the Playstation - PS2 can play most anything (including PS1), and I'm not sure, but I believe PS3 plays all PS1 and PS2 games.
Then there are a few on the Nintendo DS, like Final Fantasy III, Revenant Wings, and Ring of Fates. And some like Crisis Core, for the PSP.
Don't even think about XI. Who'd pay monthly, when you could be using that money on buying more games? Or systems? XD
Lost Odyssey is different and for some better then FF. I suggest you get it fi you like JRPG similiar to FF.ronnetOne reason I was turned off of that was because apparently it has lengthy cutscenes and it is emotional. Aparently its a sad game and I have never realy understood why that should be a good thing whats the point in trying to make yourself cry by watching a sad movie or playing a sad game? this might sound stupid but crying represents sadness and depression and sadness and depression are bad things. also I don't want to have to sit through hours of cutscenes before I can finally play the game.
What good there was no good FF game after FFX on consoles. Yeah portable you could get one. Lost Odyssey is good one if you like JRPG it comes with slight issues but its good for JRPG lovers. But dont expect it to be a AAA but yeah you can get shadow hearts quality game. Ravi_1900also what does the j on jrpg mean?
Hmm, I actually fealt that Lost odyssey was Final fantasy but without the familiar names. I forget sometimes when I play that it's not a final fantasy game.Keitarourashima
I get that feeling too. It often seems like an updated version of a FF I can't seem to remember. I believe that's because they used so many of the themes and gameplay mechanics that were once used in previous Final Fantasy games, but more fully realized, as if Microsoft wasn't nearly as restrictive as Squaresoft/Square Enix. Sometimes I still get a "What the hell?" feeling that forces me to realize that it isn't a Square Enix game, like everything about Gongora. That character really crushes the atmosphere of the game for some reason. He's so out of place, probably because there is no FF reference for his character. Either way, it's the best game available for the 360 to date in my opinion.
oh right thanks
I have been looking around and I thought that there is an excellent, cheap, free of any type of monthly fee mmo rpg that I forgot. Guild wars! It may be on PC so the controls will be more complicated but hey its a good game. I know its alot different than a game like lost odyssey but all I was realy looking for was a good rpg.
sorry I bothered everyone though with this topic I just don't know anything about jrpg's so I didnt know what ones were good and what ones were bad. thanks for your help
An updated version of FFXI is about to be released on 360. FFXI 2008 I think they're calling it. It has the game, three expansion packs, updated graphics and includes a free 30 day trial. After that you'll have to pay the monthly fees. I'm not sure if voice chat has been added.x-2tha-z
FF is not FF without mind blowing graphics.
