Good FPS game with Large Multiplayer Community

I'm looking for a first person shooter with a large multiplayer community, but I really dislike Halo3. Are there any other games like this?

COD4 and WAW are the best FPSs on the console.

Far Cry 2 is much more competitive and not nearly as glitchy as the CoD series...and there is a lack of cheaters

plus, it has probably the most realistic gun action(recoil, etc.) of any game out there

Battlefield Bad company. Fun game, only problem is no one ever talks. But most games are like that now with the Party Chat system anyways.

By CoD series, I think you mean WaW. CoD 4 is pretty much flawless. Unless you can show me some glitches, of course...

Far Cry 2 apparently has little to no community, and the multiplayer isn't that good to begin with.

i havent played CoD4 online, so i didnt really base my opinion on that game, but i heard that cheaters run rampant thru it. I have played WaW, and that game just flat-out sucks at life

and Far Cry 2 has a GREAT community online, with many members, and the multiplayer is awesome...and there are no real ways to cheat other than boosting, which is very rare to see in FC2

Well then, you should have specified CoD WaW, and not the series. Also, you obviously heard wrong about cheaters running rampant...because there are no cheats whatsoever. Not even glitches. And yes, WaW sucks. It does have glitches, and people abuse them like you wouldn't believe. That's why I stay away from anything Treyarch makes.

Far Cry 2's multiplayer, I thought was average, at best. But again, that's a matter of opinion, and I'm not gonna argue opinions with someone. That's why it's an opinion. I also hate Halo...so there you have it...

You can go in the tunnel and be invincible.. Just hop in the pipes and shoot anyone that comes by without being able to shoot them. There's your glitch unless they patched it.

You can go in the tunnel and be invincible.. Just hop in the pipes and shoot anyone that comes by without being able to shoot them. There's your glitch unless they patched it.

Yeah sorry about that i haven't played COD4 in forever but anyway it's pipeline.

I don't think I'll be getting COD4 or WaW. The suggestions I've seen are Far Cry 2, Battlefield Bad Company, and Rainbow Six Vegas 2. I will be probably be getting BBC and RSV2. Any other suggestions? Also, I heard Far Cry 2 has a save glitch and its repetitive.

I read your reviews for the 2 games, it was very in depth and good. I probably will be getting RSV2. I'm thinking of Battlefield Bad Company. If someone has that, can they give me some info, especially multiplayer.

Don't forget about the "active reload" glitch, why wait for your bullet magazine to enter your rifle if you can just quickly switch weapons and start firing.

just get all 5 nd see which one u like best-

BF:BC, R6V2, TF2 (Orange Box), CoD:WaW and don't bother with Far Cry 2.

I think im defintely getting Rainbow six vegas 2 then, is there a massive amount of people online? Thats what im concerned about.

Battle Field bad company is AWSOME! Amazing community, not very competitive people, just chill sessions. People do talk, everygame i get into people chat ALOT now, and alot of teamwork is used. (ie Copters, Tanks, air missles) Theres also a lot of customization. xDJustaShadowe
