Call of Duty 4 is an amazing game for the 360. This is one of the few games that you don't need XBOX Live to have fun. Although Live would make it about 10x better, you can still have loads of fun just playing the stroy mode. It's also fun to play 4 player against your friends.
The incredible graphics, interesting story, and challenging missions make this game as good as it is.
Ghost Recon: Advance Warfighter can help out a little bit, but some of the achievements are just for the experts at the game since you have to be top on the leaderboards for some of them. I'd recommend Lost Planet and Gears of War over that though.
