I watched that Gamespot Video recently on games that are really good and are now half the orginal price. Seeing it made be want to get Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, but i was wondering a few things about the original and sequel.

Which has a better campaign mode? (Length and Quality wise)

Which has better Multiplayer? If my connection isn't the greatest, for example, If i often have horrible lag in team games in COD4 and must resort to playing free-for-alls, will i have problems with this game?

Finally, does both games support 4 player splitscreen in the Terrorist Hunt Mode and coop?

Thanks

Ohh, and one more thing, would it make sense to just get both?

Vegas 1 has 4 player co-op where as Vegas 2 does not... If you want to play it online then play vegas 2 (since its the current R6 game and there are much more players)... If only campagin, then Vegas 1... But Vegas 1 still has some decent amount of players in it... Your choice

Vegas 1:

Very difficult campaign, more fufilling and deeper.

AWESOME multiplayer maps

Lots of MP options

Shallow exp/ranking system

Vegas 2:

Campaign is a joke in terms of difficulty, its so easy. Corny story, not really all that compelling.

Campaign is co-op, online and splitscreen

Mediocre multiplayer maps

Great exp/ranking system

Limited multiplayer options

They're not that story driven, you should be ok with just the second.

For offline, can you have 4 player splitscreen in the campaign or the terrorist hunt (in both 1 and 2 or just one of them)?

I know you can do this in Vegas 2 for sure, because I've played it with friends (extremely fun by the way) but I'm not sure about the first one.
