The old GG's, where have they gone. The only two reasons I can think of buying a 360 for are oblivion and gears (I'm not really a fan of tom clancy games anymore...not since the original rainbow 6 on the N64). The darkness, meh. The Ncaa games, meh. Guitar Hero 2, 90$. The darkness, meh. The art of creating a great sports game worth an 8.8 or higher rating on gamespot has dissappeared. It's actually sad, developers are more focused on graphics than gameplay. Anybody else agree? warz989
The Darkness has great graphics and gameplay so I'm not sure what your point is considering you've probabaly never played it. If you want less graphics and more gameplay you should get a Wii and wait for some of the more immersive gameplay with motions. Just as a side note I have both systems so I'm giving you a honest and personal opinion. PSS Oblivion is and Gears will be both on PC, so grab those on that platform.
There are plenty of good games...some people just need to LOWER their standards thats allLessThanMike
yeah i agree the problem is games like Gears and Halo and Oblivion to name a few have come out and now people are expecting all games to be that good and it just wont happen lower your standards and there are a lot of good games out there maybe not great but good enough once you play them.
Let me start off by saying...some of us are poor. I heard the darkness was short and it only got an 8.5 so it cant be that great. I saw some of the previews for it and it looked a little....well ridiculous. warz989
By GS's definition, 8.5 IS great. Not every game needs to be a 9.0 or above to be worthy of your game time. So you may not want to buy 8.5 or lower games. Why not just rent them?

First point, If you are looking for 9.0 games and above your list will be very short and perhaps you can purchase those and rent the lower ones. Just because you deem 9.0 games and higher worth playing and everything else sub par doesn't mean they suck. Secondly, according to your topic post you don't have a 360 as of yet and are already complaing about no good games. I suggest you save your money and purchase a cheaper console such as the Wii or one not at all. Gaming tends to be a very exspensive hobby at times even when renting.

Its going to be worth it at that. Its been a long summer, as it usually is but in the next few months, its going to be a great time to be a gamer. :)

There are some good looking ones on the way it's just they take years upon years to develope. Like RE 5 which might not be out til 2010!!!!!mrarmagedon

Good things take long times to happen.
Final Fantasy XII or Twilight Princess for example. Gran Turismo 4 or Gears of War. Most of the great games have been plagued with delays.
