good long single player game

since i dont have live at the moment, i need a good long single player game to keep me interested. any recommations.

btw i have test drive, Gears, oblivion, chromehounds, PGR3,

Quake 4, Tony Hawk Project 8, FEAR is a nice length too - ive been though it 5 times and it's still fun

Get NFSMW, if you are a big fan of racing games. it is really pretty long and pretty challenging. I also have to recommend the classic Ghost Recon, both should be fairly inexpensive too.

Most Wanted is definitely below 10 hours. I agree it's a greatly fun game though.

Second it.

Although the graphics are obviously not that great, it doesn't matter in this game. It will have you hooked. It's a decent 30 hours long main story. Give or take a couple hours. It has great replay value as well.

Most Wanted is definitely below 10 hours. I agree it's a greatly fun game though.

far cry instincts predator was SUPER long and never got boring. and now its like $20 on ebay.

Burnout Revenge is a fun game w/o live.  It isn't SUPER long, but there is a whole lot of fun to be had with it.  Plus I bet you could get a deal buying it used somewhere.

Far Cry was a 6/10 at best. I would say FEAR or CoD2 if you want any more shooters.

It's a great game. And I agree it doesn't feel short. But play through it again and time it. You'll be suprised.

get burnout is pretty long single player and hitting perfect in every race will take you a while but still tons of fun.
