Good online shooter that isn't BO2 or BF3?

I'm looking for a shooter that has good online multiplayer and is fairly new. I don't think I'm gonna get BO2 because the whole lag compensation thing really annoys me. I've played the crap out of BF3, and I'm getting tired of Halo 4. Any other good multiplayer experiences out there that will last me awhile? I'm considering Future Soldier.

Gears is pretty good but it's not TPS not FPS, but get Gears 3.

Far Cry 3 is also online and from what I hear it's great, but it's mostly a single player game.

I also recommend Borderlands 2, it's a FPS/RPG hybrid with 4 player co-op and it's really addictive. It also has A LOT of hours of gameplay.

It's a really badly done COD clone that has no identity of it's own and it has no innovation whatsoever. It is really bad.

You could try out Gears of War or Ghost Recon.....

Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter or Medal of Honor Warfighter their good once you get the hang of it,

Black ops 2 can be pretty fun online.
