Fallout 3 can get insanely gory. When you shoot someone in the head with a .44 Magnum and their entire body gibs and their peices fly about fifty feet you know someoneraised the bar on gore.
gears 2 def its easy to not notice but when you think about gears 2 has the most even more so than alot of horror games i mean you can kill a boomer and blow a hole and its chest after its dead and see from the heart and lungs to the intestines all while being highly detailed.
there is a game really crapy where you shoot at somebody arm it you can blow it off, that is insane soldier of fortune i think so, but that **** is crazy
It's funny cause Gears can be rediculously gory but completely lacking in gore as well if you turn it off in the settings. But I'd say Gears has the most over the top gore, while Brothers in arms hells highway has a terifficly brutal and nasty gore sytem, especially when combined with explosives.
