Got a question about Broken Steel DLC

So I understand that it continues after the main story, and that you cant even begin it until you complete the main story. But what I wanna know is that once broken steel is done...will it then end again? or can you continue on?

I would really hope that you could cuz that would not be a smart idea.

Good news, I assumed that it wouldnt end again. I just wanted to make sure it was all good and that bethsda wasnt like "haha you though we wouldnt end it, but no we just extened it!"
