I got the E 74 error today. I'm stuck on what to do! I have no idea! I've been through 3 xbox'x so far and this one's out of warranty. I take extreme care of them I don't see why its me... I guess its just the luck of the draw when you buy one eh? Well any suggestions on what to do? Yeah I know I prob should just get a new console again... but... i don't know. This is just real bad I'm pissed at Microsoft, and any 360 thing related. I mean, how can a company manufacture a product with a disfunctional rate so high???

UUUHHHH..............:(

Sorry from posting this I just don't know what to do

My warranty label isn't intact. (NOT MY FAULT!) I didn't tamper or do anything to it.

Since you warranty is out buy a xbox 360 repair kit from ebay. Can be fixed under an hour. Also they come with step by step pics and instructions.

Is that safe? I mean if I mess something up is it totally ruined?

I'm in the same situation. 3 xboxs and E74 killed mine off last month, so I'm stuck playing PS3.

Yeah, if you screw up it's dead and gone. Tried repairing it myself and now it wont even show E 74. Just one red light.

It already doesn't work, what do you have to lose? I managed to fix my E74 (back when it was only covered for 1 year), then 3 months later I got RROD.

Too bad i had 2 xboxs now only 1 and they didn't die on me,my friend still owns my old launch 360 and works perfect,my HDMI 360 only gives this crazy green screen after watching videos.
