Got yelled at for being polite.

Yeah it was odd. was playing Gears of War 2 with some friends. it was a good game for my team. a shutout on flood with me going 9-1 was quite lagged but was good enough to play. so anyway like i ussaly i do at the end of any game i play i leave my party and say good game. so after the game my friend gets a message thet was directed to me getting yelled at for saying said line. so i tell the person i was jsut being polite and i get yelled at for saying good game to the other team(person was on my team) so i got irritated after this person yells at me just for saying good game. says something about putting over 6000 hours in guild wars because i mentioned Tribes 2. then the worst theing this person said was you should never say Good Game to noobs who get shut out and all have zero kills. and im sure this person was talikng trash the whole because i saw their mic going off at the end of every round. so i guess by what this person says im not allowed to be polite to people at the end of a game. the funny thing is this person was at the bottom of the leaderboard on my team and the other team said good game back. This is the reason im losing faith in online communities.

Pfft don't bother, If they start crying because you gave your heart out tell them to harden the **** up.Good will isn't always so frequent these days if people are giving it out i will happily take it in.

You still have faith? You are a very lucky man. Personally I am pretty nice UNTIL someone makes me mad. After that I will keep killing them and taunting them until they leave. I also say good game even afterwards though as I still respect the other team just not that person. I hate people that are horrible but only win because of their team and then talk trash. I would actually be ashamed as I strive to always score the highest or at least have a good K/D ratio if that is the point of the game mode. Going 20 and 30 isn't helping your team.
