GOTY 2010 and best character of 2010

It got to Vanquish. This game is so unique and I haven't played such an amazing game that introduced new type of game play since a long time. Best character is Monkey from Enslaved. This guy is so hilarious lol. Also, the game is so beautiful.

I bought mostly all of the games that got more 6/10 in GS reviewsexcept fable 3, fallout new vegas, and COD black ops. I know these games won't impress me as Vanquish did ( or even Enslaved).

GotY for me is Mass Effect 2, and CotY is John Marston. Rockstar did a phenomenal job with him.

Bayonetta because thats the first time that I've seen a main character that wears a suit made of her own hair and looks very good in it. Also she would kick dante's @$$. *hides behind flame resistant shield*

Red Dead Redemption & John Marston - Rockstar raised the bar mightily with this epic release.

My GOTY would be Mass Effect 2, and my character of the year would be either the Illusive Man from ME2 or Ezio Auditorre from AC: Brotherhood.

My COTY is John Shepard, but I hear John Marston from RDR is good I just haven't played it.

I'm going with Red Dead Redemption w/ best character going to none other than John Marston. I waited 4 years for this game and it didn't disappoint. Great dlc support as well.nate_c-12

GoTY should be Mass Effect 2 (considering only 360 games) I'd like to say Mordin for best character of 2010, but I don't know how likely it is for them to give that to a secondary character.iAtrocious

I hate to sound like I'm just repeating what everyone else is saying but GOTY is either Red Dead Redemption or Mass Effect 2 for me. Character would have to be John Marston.

GOTY: Either RDR or ME2. It's like everyone has said. But I will throw in a title no one else has said... NBA 2K11. By far, my favorite sports game to come out on the market in a long time. Great great game modes, good controls, and great presentation.

COTY: I'm gonna go with everyone else and say John Marston is one of the front runners. Also consider: Jorge, Noble 5, from Halo: Reach. Just a really really great character. Fable 3 also produced a slew of great characters, Logan, Sabine, Sir Walter Beck, and the return of the always hilarious Reaver. John Marston is a good choice, but he's got some strong competition.

GOTY: Im going to be original and go with ME2. Best bad guy: Sophia Lamb. Best good guy: Barry from Alan Wake, best comic relief ever.
