When I first got GoW I started playing on Hardcore my first time around, then after I finished I started on Insane and the difference wasn't that big (I mean, it was easier the second time because I was used to the controlls) until I got to the final battle with Raam. Then I started playing R6, the first time I finished the game on normal, and then I started again at realistic and I was amazed with the difference. I mean, I just completed act 1 and I'm very impresed with the challenge. What do you people think?gp19
Gears of War is an Arcade game.
Rainbow Six is a realistic FPS based on real-life.
You can't compare the two.

Since Gears is much shorter and the gameplay is much easier.....
Anyways Rainbow is extremely hard on Realistic.
I had no trouble beating Gears on Insane, but I am still trying to beat Rainbow on Normal.
That game is hard!! :D
However it is sooo FUN!!

Vegas isn't really that hard on normal. And I'll grant you, Gears isn't too difficult on insane, just requires intelligence and patience. Same goes for Vegas on Realistic. Don't be Rambo and you'll be fine. Increased difficulties often mean being more tactical is all.[QUOTE="JohnWinger"][QUOTE="gp19"][QUOTE="JohnWinger"]I'm not comparing the type of game, I'm just comparing the challenge to beat them.Gears of War is an Arcade game.

R6 is awesomely hard. but its just all patterns..if they randomized the locations and entry points of the enemy that game would have been 5 times harder on realistic then it is.When I first got GoW I started playing on Hardcore my first time around, then after I finished I started on Insane and the difference wasn't that big (I mean, it was easier the second time because I was used to the controlls) until I got to the final battle with Raam. rainbow on realistic was harder for me but it was twice as bad because I encountered the legend glitch and had to play through the whole game scene by scene. Some of those last scenes were quite a pain to pass in a single sitting on realistic. mortalstakes
