should i get gears of war or rainbow six vegas i do have xbox live and was wondering which is mainly better online but also which has a better campaign
I would go with Rainbow 6 Vegas, you get more xbox live option's than Gears Of War, but on the same note the Gears of War campaign is a lot of fun especially on xbox live with a friend. If your looking for content then go with Rainbow 6 Vegas, plus you can get the Players Pack Black Edition free on xbox live.
I would go with Gears, It's multiplayer is awesome and the single player is real good too. I own both and I have been playing Gears since day 1- not so much Rainbow six though
after playing a lot of both i find it hard to make gears interesting again for me.
Multiplayer - Rainbow six vegas (being able to costomize your weapons, armor and camo is awsome, better and more game modes that gears.) AND you get to rank up which becomes very addicting.
single player - Gears of war ( Rainbow sixs' sp is so repetative imo. theirs really no change of plot other that hoping from one area to another to prevent the terrorists plots, well at least early on.)
Ive been trying to decide the same thing and im goin with vegas.
I don't think our personal preferences in games matter the question is do you like tactical shooters ala Vegas or do you prefer heavy 3rd person shooting and action ala Gears. Once you choose your preferred genera you choice will be easier.
gears and vegas are both great games but on gears i get owned alot cause alot of the people who play gears are like the people who played halo back in the day, meaning they play it for like5 hours a day, every day. and IMO vegas sounds better and is more realistic so im going with vegas

its much easier to play against expreienced GOW players then rainbow 6, which some people are really good at and it gets annoying but gears its easy to get good.
GeoW is the single best game i have ever had and i play it almost every day! the MP is great and the SP is also very fun (but too short). R6: Vegas is also fun and i love the customization and ranking themes but it just seems too slow for me... GeoW hands down! ;)
