GOW, Raam

Yeah late to the party but about to take on Raam in Gears of War and heard hes one tough sucker, whats the best strategy to use to take this guy down???MrYates808

If you're playing on Insane difficulty, I hope you're playing co-op with someone else, 'cause if Dom is being controlled by the CPU, you're as good as screwed. You see, CPU Dom has a nasty (and really, really stupid) habit of just running right up to Raam only to get smacked down and dead very quickly. That leaves just you and Raam and nobody else to distract him.

With co-op, it's possible to beat Raam, although still very hard on Insane. I was playing with my buddy, we both had over 10 torque-bow shots each. We just lit him up with them, but we soon ran out and Raam was still alive. Craig decides he's going to try to run to the other side. "NOOOOOO!" Craig.....er, Dom goes down. I'm all that's left (and we've been doing this over and over for about 15 times by now. I can recite the entire cut-scene now......"Marcus, you've gotta drop that data RIGHT NOW!") and Raam is standing just on the other side of my cover. So I just blind-toss all 4 of my 'nades over the wall, but Raam is still alive. Then I just blind-fire my gun over the wall and next thing I know, Raam is dead. FINALLY!

ya exactly has to be co op or its gonna be on tough sucka....damn AI sucks for the final battle

i still need to beat this game on insane....i dont want to do it solo i want it co op cause its a hell of a lot better that way

Stay in the light and grab the sniper before you get to him(in the room just before). Use the lancer to remove the krill and snipe his head or his body Try to get actives b/c that will greatly help. Also if you stay on the guide lights on the floor of the train the krill will stay away from you. good luck
