GOW2 Limited Edtion comes with gold lancer

it gives u the code but u can only use it in MP.

I reserved the regular but i, going to change my reserve to the limited edition.

I am not sure that I would spend about 10 bucks more just to brag that my lancer(which I doubt I would use next to all the other great weapons) is a different color. But I would get it for the other extra content!!!

getting the limited eddition of any game these days isnt worth it unless your a box art junky. i mean the first and last collectors edition ill ever buy was halo. bought halo2 and it was nothing special, did the same for 3 and i got a little book. same with my bro when he got gears. its a waste of money.

look at battlefield bad company, you gotta buy the LE to get the guns, which you other wise have to achieve the highest rank to unlock. thats actually worth something

Haha - I can't beleive how many people want that gold lancer! It's just a gimmick, and honestly, has no place in the Gears universe (sort of ruins the whole feel).

except every single person will have one and if they don't they'll know exactly where they came from. it will not be a limited edition...it will be like halo 3's legendary edition. i could go buy one in best buy still.

Speaking of shiny, wouldn't this gun make the player stand out a little more in multiplayer matches? Wielding a golden gun sounds like a disadvantage to me.

i thought it was cool at first until i realized every second person would have a golden lanser which sort of ruins it. i'm going to buy the regular and laugh at all the people that think they're cool with the gold

I think the cool thing about any LE is just that...... its a LIMITED EDITION! it comes with extras and looks way cooler than the normal game. just seeing the look on my friends face as he came in the door and headed straight for the shiney game case on the top of my TV, lol awsome
