Hi, I havn't had a 360 for very long and I want to get a racing game. I haven't really looked at many racing games for the 360, although I downloaded some demos last night and am going to try them. I used to have a PS1 and PS2 and I had Gran Turismo 1 and 2 and I have to say, I loved em! So I was wondering if there were any games on the 360 kind of like the GT series. Thanks!
Forza and race pro are the only games that attempt to be sim, race pro mor than forza. Race pro concentrates on racing like GRID but forza and pgr concentrate on cars, forza with all the dlc has about 500 cars.
Ok, I played some demos and watched some reviews, and I think I am going to go with Forza Motorsport 2. I will miss the liscenses of the GT series, but oh well. Thanks for the help!
The closest to Gran Turismo on 360 is probably Project Gotham Racingshaddix55
Not at all.... PGR is arcadish style simulation. there is absolutley NO customization which is what both Forza 2 and the Gran T series are known for. To the Poster, if it truly is a game like GranT that you are after, you will be disappointed greatly if you dont look at Forza 2

I use to be a huge Gran Turismo fan. That is until Forza came out! Its the racing king now man! Its got bettter cuztimization, better gameplay, more realistic, bettert physics and is just the best!
I had bought a racing wheel for my PS1/2 to play GT1/2 with. Since I am going to get Forza Mortorsport 2 I figured that I would get a wheel while I'm at it. So far I have seen the Microsoft brand and the Mad Catz wheel. I really do not want to get a Mad Catz wheel, so how good is the Microsoft wheel? Are there any other wheels you might recomend? I have the MS wheel and couldn't play a racing game without it. It's hard to get used to at first because the force feedback really fights back in your hands, but it's a blast to use. I've tried a few other racing wheels on the 360 and have never been satisfied with any of them the way I was with the MS wheel. I'd recommend spending the money because in this case, the more expensive wheel really is the best out there. My only piece of advice with the MS wheel is stick with it! It'll frustrate you at first, but it's great once you get used to it.

Although when I was looking at it I read something about a Forza 2 demo, but then again I also read somewhere about PGR3 included. Was the wheel with PGR3 an older model or what?
Everyone, thanks for your help! It looks like I am going to get Forza Motorsport 2 and Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless racing wheel sometime in the future.
