Grand Theft Auto IV- Freezing ever happen to you?

Hi I was just wondering, Ive been playing some GTAIV lately without the harddrive install...and its beeen freezing on me every once in awhile...is this normal? It doesn't seem to happen to my other games (COD4, gears2)...has anyone ever had problems with this game before doing this? It didn't do this when I had it installed into my harddrive....and the disc isn't even scratched..

Mine froze up a few times, so I really wouldn't worry about it, unless it does it really often.

I have the game installed to the hard drive and it freezes every time I get disconnected from live.

mine freezes when i change soong/recieve message but it recovers it would freeze for like 1 second then it be fine

can freezing mean early signs of rrod??? I ve never gotten a red light...my xbox i barely play and i got it back in october of 2008...manufactured in aug 08

thanks! my college finals are gonna end soon...so the last thing i want is a messed up xbox.
