Grand Theft Auto IV - Fun Things To Do in Single Player and Multiplayer

Hey all!

GTA IV has lost lots of players since the release of Red Dead Redemption and of course, every game gets boring, and I'm one of those people who go back to their old favourite games... I was just playing Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (it's my little brother's game... he was stuck on a duel...) and my brother had to go to bed so I scanned my game cabinet for a game to play. I picked up Red Dead Redemption and stared at it for a moment. Then I chucked it back in and I picked up GTA IV. This bought back good memories. The first game I ever had (on Xbox 360). The first game I played Xbox Live on. But then I remembered the last time I played it and I got bored instantly. So... What's your favourite fun thing to do in GTA IV? Mine is going on Multiplayer, getting some friends, stocking up on guns and ammo and having a war against the cops.

Step 1:Get some friends(4-6)

Step 2:Host a multyplayer lobby

Step3:Stock up on guns and armor

Step 4: Place a few snipers around the strip bar and some guys with guns inside

Step5:Make the guys inside kill everybody so the police will come

Step 6: Defend the strip bar!

Not much brother. The campaign started off strong, than it suddenly became so repetitive, and all the missions seemed about the same. I never found the time or bothered finishing it. I guess going around causing havoc is fun, and some online modes have their moments, but that's about it.

For me it is either just driving around randomly, trying to drift round corners, stunt jumps, high speeds etc. or police chases/shootouts. Although the amount of nobs on xbl in that game make it difficult to have fun online. They seem to think if they want to have a shootout with other players then everyone else must join in...:? i guess some people don't know how to have fun or have never socialised with a real person.

Swingset glitch is fun as hell, not sure if they patched it, but if they havn't then the challenge is to try and land in the water (its a long shot)

typical360gamer, even i had bought my first game as gta 4 and i only used to play the online for that game because i never knew about cod4 and halo 3 lol coz i was new to xbox 360. but i have to say i still enjoy the rocket launcher match

People complain that games arent realistic enough... now they are too realistic? also is it actually possible to make something too realistic ?

go find 200 pigeons to kill acheivement. that should keep you busy, lol

gta need look play little realistic but dosn't need be all realistic. i remember other gtas are more fun because you walk down the streeat shooting up a army without dieing driving tanks and that. in in gta 4 you get shot 4 times by little shrimp your about to die. they made all the missions about the same just killing druggies the whole time. once in the blue moon you got different type of mission

lets say they toke out some of fun be removing some featuers that i enjoyed much in the past.

They should of made a remake of San Andreas, or at least have based the gameplay using the same techniques as what San Andreas had. Nothing was better than being able to go to the gym and get ripped, or if you didn't eat you would die. San Andreas is the best GTA game to date IMO.

getting friends and doing the swing glitch all in one car. garanteed LOLs.

having a helicopter battle in the air with friends (play a party mode game theres 2-3 helicopters at the spawn point) ram each other and the winner is awesome.

have a boss fight ( have one guy with a roket luncher, and one guy with a MILITARY copter. once the copter is down, he uses a regular copter, once down, he uses a car. party mode suggested. the boss can die a few times. the crashes are epic.)

and sorry for double post, but get motorcycles and drive full speed with your buddies and see who can last the longest without crashing. (nrg 900 suggested.)
