I have only played RB6V, but i heard that its much better then the GRAW2. my buddies are hardcore into the RB6. I personally, am gonna rent them both, and play them back to back to see the difference before making my choice.

Depends what kind of shooter you want. Do you want to play in closed enviroments if so then rainbow six vegas is your type of games. Or will you enjoy wide open enviroments if so the graw 2 is the way to go.
I've played both - both are great. If they were TV shows then R6V would be 24 and GRAW2 would be The Unit. I personally prefer GRAW2 beause I like the outside settings, but R6V has a better online career type mode with army rankings, it's woth getting both cos they use different perspectives - R6V being first person, GRAW2 being third person (ish!). Rent both over a weekend and see which one you play most first.
There both awesome games but I think Rainbow six. Its very fun and the character personalization and weapon personalization makes it even better.Its always funny to see the different players customized outfits and colors, from serious to freakin hilarious. you can costomize your weapon to, to make it your own adding recoil stocks (for LMG's) scopes, lazer sights and scilencers. Plus there is a butt load of game modes and aparently there is a map/gamemode/weapon (not sure on weapons) expansion pack coming out soon so thats adding on to an already great game.
