GRAW 2 Throwback Packs DLC Help, PLEASE!

I downloaded the throwback packs BEFORE I ever actually played Graw 2. Was this wrong? I can see the DLC on my HD and from the graw 2 tab on my main screen, but when I select pack 1 or 2 and select play now, it says, you must play the game these downloads were intended for, or something like that?

What am I doing wrong? Or did I have to have Graw 2 content saved on my HD and then download the packs to make them work right?

1. Put in GRAW2 Disc.
2. load game, Multiplayer -> edit Identity, player options, download content = YES.
3. Open Multiplayer room.
4. Set up how u wish.

Failing this, redownload the content.
