There are problems about the takeover of EA of rockstar or whatever..... But the most dissapointing news is that GTA 4 might be delayed again. Why must the game be always delayed? Isn't it irritating?

I don't know it's just an analyst talking. And as profit-first EA may be, I doubt they will delay a widely anticipated title like GTAIV for some extra cash and have to deal with the enormous bomb of criticism that will be dumbed upon them if they in fact use this strategy.
I don't think this will happen.

you obviously dont know EA and M$ very well. I garentee they would cancel this game if it ment making them more money they dont give to $hits about the consumer there both out to make $$$
thats a low chance because rockstar clims they need get tht game out because there money running
you can count on take two and rockstar will fight hardest it can to get that game out. and if rockstar goes bankrup that means they will have to sell game rights to other company to get money (one of there games )
I think it's coming out on the 29th still It'd be pretty crazy (read, dumb) to delay it any longer. It seems almost like some kind of tactic to get people mad at EA..
I took 2 days vacation around the release date so if it does get delayed because of EA I'm not buying it or any other EA game for the rest of my life.
Yeah I see it coming out the 29th. its only about 2 and a half weeks away. They are probably done with the game by this point and preparing to ship (or dang close to it). They have to make sure thousands of copies make it out by April 29th, so we will know very soon if there really is a delay IMO.
P.S. I have 4 days off work luckily so I hope it comes out on the 29th

lol....on another note, the game for 360 has been done for sometime. The ps3 was the original pushback because it's taking longer for games to be produced for that platform. The only thing I hope is that with all the time the 360 version had finished product wise, I hope they went back and try to polish it up.
As the article says, and I think it's pretty accurate, it will only be delayed if the EA takeover happens. Take-Two/Rockstar NEED this game to come out now. They WANT this game to come out now. The game is READY to come out now. This is why EA is trying to take over Rockstar BEFORE the release, both so that shareholders don't see the amount of money they just made off of the only game that could dethrone Halo 3 as the most sold (especially because it's on multiple platforms) and they want to delay it. EA doesn't need money, they aren't in development debt like Rockstar, it just increases the bottom line to delay it. Say what you will, a majority of gamers are too earger to play GTA IV to actually boycott it. Even if you do it for a week or two, eventually you will buy it.
EA will single-handedly seriously harm the gaming industry if it takes over Rockstar, and Take-Two/Rockstar know this, which is why they are begging their shareholders not to agree to the takeover. If EA takes over, GTA IV could be delayed and EA will have the ONLY sports games (remember, 2K is part of Take-Two and EA's other goal is to eliminate all sports competition, which even though I don't play sports games, I know sucks). Additionally, do you really want EA in charge of Bioshock 2? That's what'll happen.
Nothing positive can come out of the gamer standpoint if EA gets Rockstar/Take-Two. At the same time, investors, while potentially conciencious of gamers, probably aren't hardcore gamers enough (because they're investors) to turn down a big pile of money like EA is offering. This deal is going to come down to the wire and if EA bids another billion or two (and they just may, depending), then GTA IV and many of my favorite franchises will be solely in EA's hands. Don't like that thought too much.
I personally don't see them doing the delay. Pacter only stated it's possible if EA wanted to get the MAXIMUM amount of money. I don't think they care about maximum because if they do delay it again. About 95% of the gaming community would not put up with it and ruin EA's rep even more so then it already is.
Just like some people already stated... If it get's delayed again, I'm not buying it. I'd rather spend my money on something I know will be out. Star Wars Force Unleashed.
