gta 4 is lacking

does anyone else think that gta is missing some of the best components of the gta franchise.

One of my friend think so.Because GTA4 have no side mission and other stuff...I think this is not good.But I think GTA4 is totally better than GTA3.

GTA should be about doing what you want to do aftre you beat the game. it was so much fun to just drive around in san andreas but now the game is so confined. its impossible to have fun while driving anymore

I think the biggest letdown in GTA IV was all the gimmicks you were forced to use at every single oppertunity the developers had. Whenever i was having fun murdering pedestrians, my fat cousin would call and ask if i would buy him a burger. Whenever i had to go on a sidemission i was forced to visit an extremely limited internet or manage my way through an awful mobilephone only to get told to pick up a car or package.

I got GTA a few days before launch day, and I still really enjoy playing it today, and will for a long time to come, especially the online free roam with a group of friends. Endless fun.

Same about the online free roaming.

But for some reason GTA IV can hardly ever connect me to a game. I only have this issue with GTA IV though, Bad Company and my other games are fine.
