i kill dwayne and now i cant get any new mission after that.all i can do is get missions from brucie and go on dates with that girl.

what am i doing wrong and how do i keep going on with the story?

Brucie is part of the main story. Unless you mean his racing missions.

You made a mistake for killing Dwayne though. :P

also i know what the perks are from killing either one.i killed dwayneths time to see if i can get past this problem.i killed player the first tie.

also i did call everybody on differnets days too.they are not picking up with anything for me to do.

Continue playing for atleast a couple of in game days. Go back to a safe house, or to any activity that forces the game to load another area. That helps to trigger it into giving you the next phone call. Also check your emails. Go to all the letters on the map to do their missions.

I had a couple of times where there didn't appear to be anything to do, but after a while the game realises and gives you a phone call with the next mission

i kinda was doing that.i blew my self up and went to the hospital.called people.killed my self again.go to the hospital.call again.for a couple of in gae days already.

There are a few lull moments in the game, don't worry. After a few in-game days you'll receive some calls. Another dead period is somewhere after meeting a guy named Phil Bell in Alderney. If you don't feel like waiting for calls go to your safe house and "sleep" it will advance time 6 hours. You don't have to save either- as long as the animation occurs you're golden. Plus sleep replenishes health and gets rid of the fuzz- though I personally have yet to try it at six stars it does work in wiping out four.
