it said 4 way MISSIONS. thats the key word there. tht doesnt necessarily mean the whole game is 4 way co op like say halo 3. but tht is believable i would probably be fine with just a few co op missions
From what I saw in other sites there will be a mode called "Free Room" were you can do whatever you whant to do (dont know if you can do missions) and the maximum ammount of players are 16 (I know that it looks a lot but it was from a good site, its a portuguese site but they work hard to get real news and they are praticly right all the time, they got the info on the OXM)

I think the "Free mode" is interesting in multiplayer, imagine the role play ideas you could have (with the right minded people, it can be excellent) I could be the number one woman in Liberty City... bring me your cash or I'll have my boys round to break your legs lol.
