GTA IV - Getting on the %@#@^ Helicopter!!

Okay, after the 5th time of falling into the water(!), can someone please tell me what other button do I need to hit to get in the helicopter on the last level. The game prompts you to hit "a" repeatedly. I did that a few times until my thumb about fell off, and then tried "a" and "x" but to no avail! Everytime, it seems to time out and Niko falls into the water! ARGHHH!!!!

Thats the one where he hits the jump ramp and grabs onto the chopper yeah?

Maybe your not getting to the ramp quick enough,

One of a few frustrating missions on GTA, you do so much in the lead up to that bit,

then you gotta start right from the start each time.

Thanks, I guess I will try it again, maybe 6th time is the charm. I think I am hitting the ramp on time because I have arrived late and end up missing the helicopter all together.

I will just keep pressing "A" and and check my settings!

Getting to the ramp was the hardest part for me. I kept splashing into the frickin water prior to the ramp.

Anyway, you only have to make it to the ramp and grab hold of the helicopter. doesn't matter if you're a few seconds off as long as you make it while the yellow arrow is still there. Just smash the hell out of the A button. You'll get it.
