I have cravings to play it, but once I do I play 1 mission and I get bored. I just don't know how many times I can kill a crowd a people and escape from the police in 1 day. Its a good game but it's tedius and all I want to do is see the story unfold but it happens sooo slowly I lose interest.Lawnboithats why im not buying gta4....i had the same feelings about gta3-san andreas....it was great at first but just became eh to me....but yet again....to each his own
I understand what the TC is saying...
I think GTA 4 has done a good job at keeping the missions varied enough to make each of them unique in their own way. It's not always Drive to Point A, Kill some guy, Flee the scene. They do tend to follow one of five different scenarios. And all of them include Drive to Point A... do something... Flee the scene. It's not a bad thing, it's just that the game is so long you're bound to wind up doing very similar missions repetatively.
What I do like about the missions is that each mission builds upon the previous one... so you're seeing progress and consequences with each mission you complete. And after completing all the missions for one character, you recieve a benefit perk. I also enjoy watching the cut-scenes that advance the stories of the missions. Very well acted, and memorable characters.
So go trade it in and get something else, don't blast it on the forums like its an actual topic.Donnovan
fanboy defending it to the very end. I agree with the TC and some of the other posts, its gotten repetitive to the point where i dont even feel like playing it anymore and ive only played it for 15 hours since i got it last week. That and they stripped away everything SA and VC added to the series and just did a graphics overhaul.
yea i have a hard time playing single player also. i like to talk to my friends and **** while i play so i just play online. theres a couple things i hope they fix. like when someone talks it should say who it is
i like the game and im glad i bought it
