GTA IV Online ??

I was just wondering if GTA IV was online ??? It would be sick if it was, I like the Saints Row online as well because of the drive by's :D

I thought I heard it was online but I am not sure

Yessss I don't care how long its delayed, I am happy because all its going to do is make the game btter and online ...is even better online

as cool as having online multiplayer sounds (MMORPG style), i think implementing that into a game like GTA would actually kidn of ruin the experience. for me, GTA's all about being able to do whatever you want in the world and genuinely kick ass wherever you go. that level of freedom is what makes GTA a GTA game.

okay so now throw in a couple of other dudes who can do the same things as you can. o crap, guess what, you don't have the spotlight anymore... it's almost like back to getting owned on Halo 3 matchmaking (at a certain point, everyone starts getting owned at least half the time in Halo 3 matchmaking... admit it ahah).

I remember reading a while back, the only thing rockstar was willing to say about multiplayer is that it would be accessible through your in game cell phone, i dont know if theyve said anything new about it since... im thinking maybe its going to be a joke since rockstar has such a sense of humor in their games, since you access it through your cell phone maybe its something like pacman or poker or something stupid like that i dont know im just guessing... but im not looking forward to mp even a little regardless of what it is hopefully they wont even end up putting it in, they better not ruin my favorite series with a bs multiplayer.

Totally agree with you there. cant wait to get GTA4, rockstar better put in a whole lot of effort into the single player man, i dont care about Mp at all. Every GTA gets better, GTASA was best. this had better be better.

It's probably going to be something like the Burnout Paradise (demo), friend's list system. You would hit left on the D-pad and a list of choices would come up like: Invite a Friend, start a custom match, start a ranked match, etc. (Don't remember all of them). So if they ARE adding the cell phone as a way to start the mulitplayer experience, it would probably be something like that.

yea, i hope so. look at COD4, the SP is nothing compared to the Mp.

im just saying i hope that dont happen to GTA4
