GTA IV review score...is it just me...??

the game deserves an 11, 10 is too low.

everything that's bad about it would be considered normal in every other game that didn't have so much amazing crap in it such as this game has.

Is it just me?? Am i the only one who thinks the game is a little overrated?? Come on, it is an amazing game but clearly has some iissues like graphic glitches, or dumb AI for example. Don't get me wrong, but a lot of games are criticized in their reviews and get a lower scores for having the same problems?? What do you think??irontallica

I don't beleive reviewers view a 10 as perfection. There is no such thing with video games.

Does it deserve a 10? I dunno i'm not real far into it. The only thing that I'm having issues with is the graphics seem a little grainy.

Its not overrated just a little biased when it comes to reviews (its hard not to be these days)

IMO no games deserve a 10 unless ABSOLUTLEY PERFECT!

When GS reviews a game and gives it a 10 then there shouldnt be anything in the cons section and there was...

GTA4 is not PERFECT and never will be

If it's 10, people say doesn't deserve that.

If it's 9.5, people say it deserves more.

Pick your side, but either way, there will still be people who complain about the score.

I actually have played it just for a very minimal amount of time at a friends house but ive also watched him and many others play it for long periods of time. And yes there are some issues... but nothing that isnt expected

It's a great game. The controls seems to be a little sloppy, and the cars and running have gotten slower for some reason. But slamming into an unsuspecting pedestrian at 80mph is the most satisfying thing I've seen in a game for a while. 10 might be a stretch but it's close.

I think GTA IV is amazing and deserved the 10 it got. It is such an amazing game!PS2Dude89

Well maybe when I finally convince my dad to let me buy a game thats half as bad as the movies I can watch then MAYBE ill change my mind. But from what ive played so far it gets a 9.8 from me

its just you. this is one of the best. if not the best game ive ever played. ive played for 11 hours sp and im only 20% done. shows you how huge this game is. i can beat cod 4 twice in ten hours.ag3ntz3rox0x

Im not bashing the game at all, as a matter a fact I cant cause I dont own it.

I know the games great and the story and characters are along the lines of a classic movie but there are a few issues and it still could be improved along with everything else in the world...

Well knocking it back .5 would be to harsh I agree but thats only cause GS's rating system blows.

Like I said before, buddy, a 9.8 or 9.9 wouldve been better IMO and I know I havent played it for very long yet and my opinion may very well change and if it does, you'll be the first to know ;)

at first gamespot gave GTA4 9.5/10. A few hours later they CHANGED it into a 10/10. Probably because of user criticism, but that's just sad, soooooooo sad.Lub1

Barely any problems, but 10 is Perfect and no game is perfect. The AI is dumb rarely, thats the only problems though IMO
