GTA IV - Will it be possible?

Hi does anyone have the slightest idea if its gonna be possible to buy GTA 4 on release day without pre-ordering it?

Basically im wondering if i could pick one up from GAME on the day or will i just be wasting my time?

The Big Fatcats up at head office in Game have had 3 prev GTA to know how many copies to have so they wont lose out in any money so i think you will be fine.

just go while everyone is at work or go at midnight like moi.

yes you be able buy it for sure at like walmart best buy target. i think wit gamestop its like a day u have to wait thats how they make you pre order it. for me it take like 8 more mins to ghet to gamestop vs walmart lol and save 5 bucks on pre order and like 1.50 on gas so ya and most of the time no lines baby

I'm hoping so, I'm lining up tomorrow night after work for the midnight launch - and I haven't pre-ordered anything. Worse comes to worse and you'll probably read aboot me in the paper/on the news, but I will have it.bubnux

Good luck there man. Most places that are having a midnight release only let the people that pre-ordered pick up there copies.

I'm going on a short roadtrip to new mexico from texas on Monday night...so I'll just pick it up at some random wal-mart on the way at midnight...should be pretty funny.

though i won't be able to play my copy for a couple of days...*tear*

I would guess you'll be fine- companies are (usually) smart, they know this games gonna sell like crazy. Plus I have the same problem and didn't reserve it-oops.

I live in a medium size town id say nothing too big, theres a blockbuster and a GAME, also a Tescos a bit further out, so i can just try my luck in all of them.
