I was and still am thinking about buying this game via the marketplace on xbox live. I think that I should play this game because I loved GTA IV and I think that GTA: SA expands the open-world concept even moreso than GTA IV. But it does come at a cost. Hard drive-wise and monetary-wise. 2.9 GB and 1200 M$ points. I think I may buy/get/ask for the 120gb HDD for Christmas this year. This would be easier for me to get games like this because I would have more space. I already have the money/points for them with 3800 some odd points. How about you? you buying it?

If you like open world games then you should really buy this one, it's way bigger then GTA IV and if you're asking me it's also more fun... When you're done with GTA IV you don't have anything left to do accept that you can go to a pub with one of your friends or you go bowling... but in San Andreas there is so much more to do besides the main story.... It kept me playing for over 100 hours on the PS2... and I'm downloading it again right now, can't wait to skydive out of my Harrier!! XD

Parachuting was the best bit, plus the old harrier-esque Hydra. I have it for Xbox so, there's no point in me buying it again. Good game though.. Much more fun if you like sandbox mayhem.

GTA: San Andreas wow what a game a lot more to do in it than GTA: 4. I would definitely download it if you have enough space on your HDD. Does anyone know if GTA: SA is backward compatible on the 360? I don't have many GB's left on my HDD and would love to go back and play this again! Thanks in advance!

I enjoyed San Andreas a lot more than GTAIV because SA focuses on being fun rather than trying to go for realism.

I would rather spend the MS points on getting GTA SA than on the DLC packs for GTAIV.

GTA SA is awesome. but it might take you a while to get used to the graphics, but its worth it.

GTA vice city was my favorite though. if you want story, get Vice City, if you want tons of stuff to do, go for SA.

but i would buy both for Xbox you can pick them up cheap used.

Please keep all "should I buy this game?" questions to the dedicated 360 Recommendation Thread, which is stickied at the top of the forum. Thanks!
