Hi there!

Is it just me, or does GTA 5 not look NEARLY as good as what they promised it would. I mean, there's no anti-aliasing, some textures are a little fuzzy, and then there's the framerate issues as well. Is this fixable with a patch or did Rockstar perform a fast one on us? :/

If you look at Los Santos froma long distance at night, way off in the distance appears blurry.

THat's the only think I can think of.

No this guy most certainly is not lying as I experience this problem as well. Lots of the graphics look fuzzy and I also have some frame rate issues when driving. I definitely did not install the two discs. I followed the instructions on screen, inserted disk two when it asked and it just loaded. I'm convinced its my Samsung 3d TV but who knows...!!any suggestions ?

This is gonna sound stupid but do i not virutally need to go to the dashboard and install the play disc ? or have i actually installed the play disc during the install when asked to inset disc 2 ? I have also e-mailed rockstar support to explain to them fully what the problem is to see if i may have a problem with the 360/tv/hdmi cable or wither there will be a patch to sort this out. I wasnt expecting the crystal clear picture that you see in the adverts but surely its not meant to be this bad....

The footage we all saw was a pre-release max settings trailer of GTA V, it was using a developer version of the game which allowed emulation of the 360/PS3 ISO's to run via PC, therefore giving the developers full options to tweak graphic settings. So we saw a fantastic looking game which still looks absolutely fantastic, but of course consoles need to keep a steady FPS so we get a slightly dulled version as usual. But still perfect IMO.

I installed the install disc to the HD and the play disc to a USB drive, and I have no framerate or pop in issues whatsoever.

I think you should try playing the game sober...'cause like the song says...you "musta been high" LOL The graphics aren't perfect, but they are truly amazing considering the sheer scale and density of the game.

Make sure the drive is a 10GB or ideally a 16GB. They sell 16GB drives on sale at Best Buy for $10 .
