Many reviewers (including IGN) have stated that the PS3 version is only slightly better in terms of antialiasing and framerate. They've also stated that the 360 had richer colors. In the long run, however, such differences are extremely superficial, and if you discriminate one version from another due to this fact, you're a moron. Don't forget about the 20+ hours of content the 360's DLC will offer, too. My decision will be based on the downloadable content rather than marginally better graphics; you can never have enough Grand Theft Auto.
basically what it comes down to is that both versions are so close in terms of awesomeness that the only factor for choosing a console should be what your friends will be playing it on. That and if you want the dlc. I'm not jiving the dlc simply cause from what i've been hearing, it's just gonna be either online missions or side missions, though that is only rumor so who knows.

this is one of thoes things to consider when you own a 360 and ps3 like I do. yes you want to get the one with better graphics ps3, then you consider live is 1000x better for online you get the dl content and so on. I almost got the ps3 gta but ended up pre-ordering for the 360. I will just rent the ps3 gta later just to check it out. the one thing I notice I do is, I always get mutil platfourm games for the 360. It just seem to always be the better choice
When it comes down to it, the DLC is the most important thing for me, IGN said the main story is about 30-40 hours, plus 25 hours of story dlc? that's quite an upgrade.
i would be soo pissed if only had a ps3... 10+ hours of dlc is like another game. i guess if you dont have internet connection and have both ps3 and a 360 the ps3 would be better, otherwise youd be a fool to pass up all that dlc.

Yeah i just thought about it...10 hours is actually quite alot. Nowadays games are like around 10 hours so yeah. Its like a whole new chapter, ign said the story took em between 25-45
i think the only difference is load times and DLC. Hilary from IGN may have said the graphics are better on the PS3, but Rockstar has said themselves that each version is identical. So unless Hilary has some weird x-men type vision, i'll take rockstar's word for that.
Like there is a difference in graphics but gameplay is basicly going to be the same but i think the 360 will have better online and it has DLC but that dosent mean its any better then the ps3. But im getting it for the 360.
my deciding factor; just bought a ps3 and need something to play on it :P really tough decision still. if i had more games for my ps3 i'd be getting it for 360 for the DLC

Another benefit of buying GTA 4 for the PS3 is that you don't have to worry about the 360's RROD issue. It is not that big of a deal, but it is an inconvenience when you have to get your 360 shipped to Microsoft's repair center. I just wanted to point this out since it hasn't been mentioned yet. I don't own a PS3, btw.
