GTA4 Midnight Release??

I'm wondering and really hoping there will be a midnight release somewhere...i have preordered it at gamestop. Does anyone know if there will be a midnight release for this? GTA4!!!!

Yes I am going to my midnight release at the gamespot down the street form me. So yours should be having one too. Ask one of the employees at the store.

Is this guy serious? and every big game thats ever been released?....no gears of war had no midnight release, cod4 had no midnight release, super mario world didnt have a midnight release. Not every big game has a midnight release, infact midnight releases are pretty new, only madden was the only one with midnight releases....thanks a lot prodigy. And can we get a warning to tenczas? he already edited it which means it probably said something a lot worse.

for UK i know for Fact Game will be open midnight and if gamestation have any sense they will open at midnight for a slice of the profit pie awell.

i still think you will have a better chance getting it first thing in morning as all the crazy gamer geeks will be camping outside the stores 10pm with there costa coffee n snacks.

Well Mr know-it all - a little nugget you may have slipped on - my buddy is the manager of my local Gamestop, and it's located in a mall here - so to open at midnight, they 1st have to get approval from the mall, then they have to coordinate with the security company on having staff on hand as his store has to pay that company.

So unless these thing go through determin whether or not my local store can do a midnight openning.

yea prob the one thing that guy ever knew that anyone else didnt was that gamestop was having a gta4 midnight release......well i went to my local gamestop today(not in a mall) and right on the front window was a poster of the gta4 midnight release and they told me yes only for preorders there will be a midnight releaseJuanaSmoke

My local store is still waiting for approval from the mall as of yesterday to open @ midnight - I prepaid my copy, but doubt I'd go up at midnight to get it - will definitly be there at 9:30 the next day when it opens to get it though - took the day off from work for it.!!!!

They have a countdown thing for it on the counter. A big display thing.
