GTA's Multiplayer will be greater than halo3

Yup, I'm calling it here. I would even put money on it. Rockstar games is a great company. Pure freedom with multiplayer, wow. So much possibility. Even though its their first Multiplayer w/ GTA, I'm pretty sure its going to be way better than halo 3. FreeParking

Just like the one comparing COD 4 and GTA 4, they are TOTALLY DIFFERENT GENRES....do I compare NHL with Forza Racing? Or Tomb Raider with Madden NFL? No, and why not? Because they are not even COMPARABLE!

i dont think so. look at all the fan bowys come out of the wood work. im not even a halo fan and i can def. guarantee that it will not beat out H3...or COD4!!!

right now LIVE supremeacy is between COD 4 and Halo 3.

it really depends who among those 2 comvert to GTA4 more. Either way, none of the above two will remain on top.

In regards to the original post, i dunno about having more freedom in GTA than Halo over mulitplayer. I mean forge is almost only limited by imagination, im pretty sure GTA wont have an map editing going on.

BUT i cant wait both are awesome games and cant really be compared.

Its going to have a such a large community. How is halo3 that much differen't? From a Multiplayers perspective, they both are based of the idea of interaction and taking eachother out using weapons.

btw, COD 4 isn't jack s h i t. I played the world war 2 one years ago. Nothing special about those games to be honest.

does 400 Million in sales in the FIRST week of launch mean anything? this game is going to have a HUGE community. No one should compare games, but in my personal opinion, GTA IV will be on top of sales, and players online in a couple of months no problem. That is a huge amount of money in the first week. just imagine a couple months down the road what amount that could be.dswiderski

i think maybe the sale but not the online play, they r totoaly different games. once halo fans think gta is old they will go back to playing halo.

love gta preordered it 5 months ago and i feel sure itll beat halo at least for me, not for all those hardcore halo dudes

I wouldn't say "better" but it will definitely rival it. It will be more addicting for me than Halo 3 or Call of Duty 4's multiplayer.
