Hey, I'm interested in buying Rock Band, but I only want it for the guitar part of the game. I see that it is sold as a solo disc instead of buying the whole box, so I'm wondering if anyone here has played Rock Band with their Guitar Hero controller, and if so, how well did it work? I have no interest in the drums or microphone, just want the guitar. Hopefully, you guys can provide some insight. Thanks ahead of time.
Sorry, I already know the guitar hero guitar works on Rock Band, I just wanted to know if anyone has actually used it and what they thought of it. I keep reading mixed reviews about the guitar that comes with Rock Band, and, again, I don't want to have to fork over 169.00 for a box full of stuff I don't want when I can pay 60.00 for the disc alone. I'd like to buy it tommorrow, but I just wanted some feedback first.
I've actually been using the GH2 controller on Rock Band because the strum bar on my RB controller is broken. It works just fine, but I'm one of the few people who prefer the Rock Band guitar controller over the GH ones.
Thanks, I've read where the GH3 controller works fine, but I have the GH2 version. I could be mistaken, but I believe the guitars are one and the same. It's wired, too.
i got both gh2 and gh3 guitars they work fine if your geting rockband for the guitar part of the game if u play expert on gh then rockband will feel easy to pass
