playing the GH3 demo really made me want this game as I havnt played it before

one thing, I have seen on youtube a bunch of videos of GH2 that have songs that ARENT on the list of songs that wiki has, custom things

how does thios work? I didnt see the feature in any of the reviews, and I would love to be able to use some of my songs and play them

playign Trivium - GUnshot to the Head Of Trepidation would be AWESOME

and do the songs have to have guitar in them or can I play Benny Bennasi - Miles of Love (techno song) ?

and on the guitar controller, that strum thing, how does that work in comparison to the controller? do you have to hold the key and strum the thing? cause that seems like it will be harder.. although I am fine with a controller

also this priestess song hurts my fingers, but I am almost able to master it!

oh and this makes me want Rock Band like really bad, too bad I dont know anyone to play it with. online?

wait is it because of a hack or pirating the actual game?

still that means someone has to go and place the marks themselves in a song gah whatever.,.

I havent seen those videos, but I do know there is no feature to import your own songs. In GH 2 or 3. Must be some type of hack, or maybe they were playing GH 1?

But there are lots of songs, and IMO, its well worth the investment to buy the game with the guitar. (I would buy GH 3, for the wireless guitar, and then pick up GH2 used somewhere)

As the note approaches, yes, you do need to hold down the colored key and "strum" and strum bar. It takes getting used to, but after a while, its second nature. I think you would enjoy.

yea I am definitly going to get it, without the guitar controller though, and more than likely rent as I dont have much money at the moment and Mass Effect is going to get my $60 first

it just sucks cause I see SO many videos of GUitar Hero 2 on youtube that have the sogns I love and wanna play in it

but the game is still fun

The strummer is a switch that can be flicked up or down. You have to hold the coloured button and strum when the note is on the line. Unlike the controller where you just press the corrosponding button when the note is on the line.

Those custom songs are from modded PS2 versions of GH2. Its not possible for 360, and I'm pretty sure talking about it can be considered illegal.

Yeah, probably.

But I doubt just TALKING about it is illegal. Maybe get you banned from this forum, but not illegal. Now doing it...thats a different story.
